Product Designer passionate about building apps that actually help people. Currently designing in web3, combining illustration, animation, and interaction design to create meaningful experiences that feel effortless.
Background
My journey to product design started in a completely different field. I worked as a Quantity Surveyor in Singapore, which taught me systems thinking and attention to detail. But I realized I was more interested in designing experiences than measuring buildings. Even during university and while working as a surveyor, I was doing portrait illustration part-time for about 2 years, this is where I first learned to translate what I see into visual form and work with clients.
During a gap year in New Zealand, I built a following through hand-drawn comics about my working holiday. That sparked my full transition into design. I deepened my illustration skills, picked up Figma, learned animation, and spent 1.5 years freelancing on logos, merchandise, and posters.
When I joined Argos Lab as a Product Designer a year ago, I knew nothing about crypto. Now I'm the sole product designer for SollPay, designing the entire product experience and learning to code along the way. I learn what I need to learn, then I apply it.
Design Philosophy
I focus on how users actually think and interact with interfaces. Great design should feel effortless, respect people's cognitive energy, and guide naturally without making them think too hard.
I want to build products that genuinely benefit people, not just another app, but tools that solve real problems and improve lives.
