ARGOS LAB | WEBSITE REDESIGN

Redesigning a tech infrastructure company website in one week using AI

Project Brief

Argos Labs is a technology infrastructure company building products across AI, Blockchain, and Fintech to accelerate mainstream adoption of emerging technologies. The company recently pivoted from their eSIM business to focus on Web3 infrastructure.

Their main product is Sollpay (a consumer smart wallet), but the existing website still reflected the old business model and failed to communicate the new direction effectively.

I was given one week to redesign the website to reflect this transformation.

The Challenge

I had one week to redesign the website following the company's business pivot. The challenge was creating distinct visual identities for three technology sectors (AI, Blockchain, Fintech) while maintaining brand cohesion and experimenting with AI-generated design elements.

Design Process

With one week to deliver, I used AI tools to accelerate visual development while maintaining professional quality.

1. I started with ChatGPT DALL-E to generate base imagery for each sector, using carefully crafted prompts to ensure visual consistency across all three business verticals.

2. Then I used KlingAI to add subtle motion to the static visuals, enhancing professional appeal without being distracting.

KlingAI Process

3. I used CapCut to create seamless loops optimized for web performance, ensuring smooth playback across devices.

4. For critical UI elements like wallet flows and transaction indicators, I hand-crafted custom animations using LottieLab to ensure precision and quality where it mattered most.

Key Learnings

The breakthrough was combining reference images with detailed prompts - AI tools work much better when given both visual and textual guidance. This eliminated guesswork and ensured consistency across all three sectors.

I also learned to balance speed with quality: use AI for time-consuming foundational work, hand-craft only the critical interactions that impact user experience.

Reflection

This project taught me how to use AI strategically - not as a replacement for design skills, but as a tool to focus human effort where it matters most. The tight one-week deadline pushed me to think differently about my workflow, identifying where AI could handle foundational work while I concentrated on the critical interactions that define user experience. It's shifted my perspective on what it means to be efficient without compromising quality.
